    I have a laser and an etherdream 2 - are there any good Linux compatible laser control software?

    All software has a learning curve usually proportional to its capabilities and unique features. Pointing with a mouse is in no way easier than tapping a key.

    I am working on porting LaserShowGen to Linux. It's not ready yet, but hopefully soon.

    There's also the openFrameworks and Pure Data visual programming platforms, which support some laser DACs, but they are only really suited for some tasks.
