just buy a cheap laser point and put your name on it. Now THATS nearly stealing. If they sell one it pays for 30 of them. Add some overpriced shipping and now they are free to you sans labor and handling.

got to love humans....maybe they are really ferangie trying to get humans to signal their ships to take them back home.
would be interesting to see if they add a warning not to shine on aircraft.

come on Meade. I get the product but even 9.99 would be over priced but at least thoughtful. If you really didn’t want to make them then just don’t. This cheapens my respect for your sometimes awesome scopes.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    ... how is your laser-engraver?

I'm developing and programming comercial ones and have a bunch of old/outsourced gear for DIY -- https://photonlexicon.com/forums/sho...ng-and-marking

... hmmm -- your 50W fiber should be faster (in respect of removing material) than my actual used 20W with same hatching parameters

But have/had different types too from 60W pulsed, 30W MOPA to modulated 130W CW ... so could be an interesting benchmark task

If you had a choice and both were equally messy to use and maintain would you go laser or water jet for metal.

... for engraving only laser ... for cutting thick metal plates mainly water-jet ... inbetween depending on targeted application
