Can you put me down for a set? Why should they have all the fun.
Steve
Qui habet Christos, habet Vitam!
I should have rented the space under my name for advertising.
When I still could have...
Got you Steve!
Going to see if I can just switch this to a "June Sale for PL Members"... like you said, why should only select few have all the fun...?
Sincerely,

Ryan,
If you are able to switch the format over to a June PL Sale, I would be interested in a couple sets.
Thank you,
Brad
Hey Brad,
I asked (also got some messages from other members) and got told to make it a "June Sale" for PL Members
We're going to run a sale for general public too, given the demand, but their rates will be higher, the PL rate will be lower than anybody else gets
To purchase - please email me at ryan AT scannermax DOT com
Please include:
-Name
-PL Name
-Billing Address
-Shipping Address, if different
-Phone number (FedEx Requires it)
-Quantity of systems desired
-What beam diameter (3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm) - smaller diameter = better performance
-Left or Right hand entry
A power supply is not included, we can include one for additional $50. Otherwise, you need standard +-24v
Sincerely,

As much as I nagged Bill about "when the hell" would we be able to get this damn Mach DSP amp, after teasing us with it at a FLEM in like 2013 or 2014 or so... I would be remiss if I didn't get in on this action. They can sit in a box with all the other scanners I'l get around to doing something with "someday". 'Tis only money.

So this week I upgraded an older build of mine. The two upgrades included adding a Scan-Through Rotator that Ekeefe and I designed (Again, Ed did 99% of the real work).
The second upgrade was swapping out a set of DT-40Pros dating back about 10 years for a set of 3mm Compact 506's with the Mach DSP amp that Ryan is selling here (tuned for 30 and 40kpps).
Why upgrade a functioning set of DT-40Pros with C-506's you might ask? This particular build sits in the back of the room and is used for graphics on a few walls, graphics on the floor, lots of beam bouncing, glow in the dark art and now lumia. About 30 projection zones in all. The zones range from ~9-45 feet from the projector. Two of the walls as well as the floor sit at significant angles to the projector.
To hit all of these zones with a relatively short throw for many requires a projection angle of 30 degrees optical. The DT-40s couldn't get past ~22 degrees. Compact 506's handle this with ease. More importantly, the C-506's 'do what their told'. Projections at 30-40K pps look great on the walls even when focused at the far end of their scan angle. The DT-40s tended to butcher anything projected near the edges of their capabilities. Super small projections such as patterns projected at under 1 degree optical to hit a 4" bounce mirror at 45 feet from the projector also highlight C-506's fine tuning. Those projections look great, whereas the DT-40s butchered anything that small with significant under/overshoots on even simple circles / squares. Finally, quiet, compact and cool running, the C-506's really shine when compared to the DT-40 pros.
