    Hello people
Just registered here having spent a couple of weeks on LPForum already.
A bit of a noob to all this so please treat gently - don't poke too hard

I would love to attend the meet, if I am allowed that is and if I knew where it was to be held? I am guessing Leicester??
I presume I just follow the Paypal route to pay for the ticket and all info comes from in there yes?

Lot's of questions I know Sorry

I messed with Lasers when I left school for a couple of years, some small red LD's and a 5mw hand held red HeNe I was given and a HeNe from an old Philips laservision that I dismantled. It had some rather nice tiny magnetic mirror scanners I seem to remember that where great when connected to a couple of sig gen's

Ahh the laser disc players - 20 years ago they were what DVDRWs are to us today. Those little scanners were great fun!

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

I put in a business case to the NHS for specialist open diode surgery ....claiming it was groundbreaking, pioneering, innovative and would benefit so many people....but Gordon Brown said he was busy with cleaning up MRSA, so its a no then! Looks like it's coming out of RDES...Robs Diode Emergency Surgey fund!
