Default What happened to Information Unlimited??

I was going to buy something from them but their web address www.amazing1.com is dead. Does anyone know if they are still around and selling or have they folded up shop for good? A sad day if they are gone.

That's a shame. It's so sad when we lose people who help further science by bringing tools, components, and designs to the public. Little things to make it all more available to the curious and inventive.

Default Information Unlimited - Owner Obituary

His name may be familiar to some of you. Thanks for the post letting us know - it is a loss, as they offered plans and kits for a few things that I don’t believe will ever be available anywhere else…

Sad to hear that Robert Iannini had passed. I purchased several of their laser-related plans many years back. Here’s the link to his obit detailing his background for anyone that may be interested:

He the guy who wrote the books on death rays, ultrasonic repellers, lasers, and other high voltage stuff. And then sold kits to that effect. I used to have some of those when I was a kid.

I owned 2 of his books at one time. That guy made my childhood brighter.

Same. I bought mine from MWK years before I worked there.
