Hey Rob, what software are you using right now? I thought you already had a QM-2000, but now I'm guessing not.?.

    Warning !!!!!!!!!!!

This posting is NOT going to give you a nice image in your mind

If I could have an orgasm right now here on this forum, this posting would be it

IT'S ARRIVED!!!!! Yesterday afternoon to be precise. I couldn't wait to get home and try it out. I installed the software, connected all the leads and... err... got an error message

I rang LaserVisuals but Julie was unable to help and James wasn't on hand... So... I rang Pangolin in America and spoke to Hayden. It turns out that there was a problem involving one of the DLL's for the .Net side of things. Anyway, Hayden suggested a couple of things for elimination purposes and once I had tried them he emailed me another couple of files. Once I had copied these into the necessary directory everything worked fine.

All I can say is Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow,

Now I realise that this system costs a LOT more money than my old software and DAC, but Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow,

Everything just seems to work much better and smoother, the colours are brilliant and I love the feathering effects on the beams.

So, all in all I would say i'm a pretty happy bunny at the moment. Hopefully i'll get around to watching the tutorial DVD over the weekend and learn a bit more than how to start Showtime and load a premade show.

    Cheers

    Jem

I know what you mean this feathering on Pango shows and frames is so sexy and really gives the look of the thing a real edge over anything else Ive seen - its awesome.

Adam Im not on Pango I am soldiering on with Mamba Black. At the moment I have investment in it so am not going to give up yet. I am tempted by LA Freak but want the opportunity to do shows for money someday and obviously I cant do that with LA Freak - and im certainly not gonna take the piss out of Bill Benner by ignoring the License agreement. I will go Pango one day but at the mo I have not the money to spend on it - I have thrown enough into the laser black hole/bottemless pit this year already so it will be at least 12 months before I think seriously about it and I suspect I will go the same route as Jem with QM2000.net & LD 2000.
That is untill some other goodie turns my eye and wallet in the meantime - you know how it is
