Hi!
Great to see the pictures of the SELEM 2007, and to see some faces the forumnames belong to.
But... well.. How can I say this a nice way... YOU ARE ALL SO DAMN OLD
LOL!
I'm only 19 and most other people working in the sound and light industry are also quite young (well... in the Netherlands). But, maybe that's different for laserists.
Buffo / Adam, I want your shirt........
How much?
Regards,
Aidan
I just checked out Adam's gallery postings - cool!
MOST of you guys are "old" like me!!
Looks like it was a great event.
Hopefully I'll be back on that side of the world for the next SELEM !

Hehe... You like that one eh, Aidan? It's the most colorful tie-dye shirt I own. My mother gave it to me for Christmas last year. It says "Peace, Love, and Sandy Feet" on the front. She bought it in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan.
I never used to wear colorful clothes when I was younger, and wouldn't be caught dead in a tie-dyed shirt. But now that I'm older I find I sort of like them. I usually wear something colorful on the first day of an event like that so that people can find me in the crowd. I guess it worked, eh?
Allthat; there's nothing wrong with getting old dude... It happens to all of us, and there are some fringe benefits that come with age. (For me, it was finally being able to scrape together enough money to build a projector!)
And JeroenVDV - yeah, we're old, but we can still party like college students! You should have seen us at the pre-SELEM party on Friday night at the Artist's Cafe... We consumed an AMAZING amount of alchohol! Sure was a great time though, wasn't it guys?

Good point, Quazar!
I gotta admit, we certainly didn't slow down that night before SELEM! Dinner was at 6 PM, and I'm guessing that by 7 we were finished with dinner and had moved into the lounge area. That's when the cigars came out. Then more rounds of drinks. Then came the shots of Tequilla. Then the "cement mixer" for Aaron's girlfriend. (Of course, I had to drink one too, because otherwise she would have known something was up.) Hope you didn't catch too much flak for that one, Aaron! (Damn, it was funny though!) Then more rounds of drinks, more cigars, more Tequilla.... Repeat until midnight!
Whew! What a party! (So when do we do it again? I'm open next weekend...)
