    Default Projector wiring for GM20's?

It looks like I'll be using a GM20 as the safety shutter device for my upcoming RGB projector (planning in progress!).

To trigger this with a TTL signal or the "shutter" signal from a Pangolin FB3 board, is any additional circuitry required, and if so, could someone provide an example?

    Thanks!

You will require a driver circuit. Something built around a TDA2040 would be the ticket..

Does anyone know the operating voltage range and current draw of the GM20?

    Default gm20

as far as voltage a 9v battery will move the coil nicely so i would say this is just my best guess that it will use about 5v -10v +/- peak to peak

if you give me a Chance to find it i think i have the schematic for the lasermedia driver i think its an 8ch amp but you could always just strip it down to one

Since I'm still in the planning stages, any and all recommendations are appreciated!

For my initial use, I think all I'll need is a basic fixed-input driver circuit that will deflect the GM20 with a TTL (shutter) input signal.
All I'll need is is enough "On - Off" movement to use the GM20 as a beam shutter.

So, if anyone has a proven circuit for that purpose, a copy would be appreciated!
