Have you put something "sensitive" black under the fokus plane? - you can test with black cardboard or adhesive tape or such ...

I have put cardboard paper in vmc3 (1064nm) in the focus area and the same time i see with mobile phone camera and no output.
The vmc4 (532nm) that is green and eye visible has also the same behavior..
If it was some sort of safety diodes will not power up and light or shutter will be closed(in the photos both lasers vmc3 & vmc4 pumping diodes emit light).
I think the problem is between diodes and shutter (crystal optics or q-switch) in that place the beam is lost in both lasers (vmc3 & vmc4).

... which power level should the laserdiode emit in your image?
From the brighness it's below threshold level, so not lasering, but only emitting as "IR-LED" with some hundred Milliwatts ... even single Watts would saturate/overexpose the camera sensor ...

The fiber end in the photos has about 5-8cm distance from a piece of unpolished black granite(not reflective)
and the mobile phone camera is far away about 5-8 meters away from behind.
I have a power meter Primes PocketMonitor PMT 70iCu and i will check with that power meter.
I think the power level is set to 70% and if i remember correct for vmc4 diode was drawing about 19A
after the test in vmc4(small photo) granite has a small burning in the place beam hit.
Very useful your advice i will check with power meter to see what happens definitely.
Maybe diodes are dead ..

... the laserdiodes could be wrecked, but draw the same current and only emit as "LED", not lasering.
You can see start of lasering by slow adjusting the current from below threshold level up -- when crossing the threshold-level, the emitted intensity increases dramatically!!

I found a new pump diode same type that was in very good price and i got it now.
With 1 only fully working diode laser will work ?
Because this laser in other versions has only 1 pump diode and half power.
Originally pumps diodes are FAP-81-25c-800-B but i see the FAP-81-30c-800-B has about the same characterics..
Can i use FAP-81-30c-800-B or some other diode with similar optic-electric charateristics because these diodes from coherent are old batch and difficult to find them cheap ?

... as the operating current is different for the different types, you'll have to modify the driver accordingly ... so don't know, if it's doable ...

my power meter is not suitable for these diodes because it has range 0.5-7kw is for more powerful lasers.
I see these videos similar diodes and seem in camera to not be more bright than mine diodes

Anyway i will do some burning test...
Can you suggest me a material from your experience that if burned after X time with these diodes is prove that output is more than 15w ?
Some rough diy power meter(with thermocouple) for this wavelegth ?
... you can use the (brownish) backside of tiles and a magnifying glass to reduce the spot-size - with enough power you'll see visible light and/or melt the ceramics ... attached some images, lighting on the white front of a tile ...

I have replaced 1 of 2 diodes with new one but i have the same result no output.
Maybe has some problem the optic system or i don't know how to operate this engraver..
From diode fiber there is laser output but no from t-theta lens of scanner.
I will put a red pilot laser to verify scanner operation.
