He's in the UK so, he doesn't have the CDRH to contend with. Still a good point but, its a bit less restrictive over there.

For Preston - the guys in the UK are having a virtual LEM (laser enthusiast meet) this weekend on Zoom. If you can find the time, it would be a great thing to hop on and check out. The in person LEM typically happens once a year in Surfleet, a bit south of you. Great group of guys and a great place for you to ask some of your questions. See below:
    LEM zoom details.

There will be 3 meetings on zoom one for each day, im hoping Robin will help keep the rooms open again like last time.

Look forward to seeing as many people there as possible, please tag anyone in ive missed. I always miss people off

I've never done a zoom before but, i'll try and give it a go.

I was thinking more for general eye safety protocols than regulations.

Are mirror balls different in the UK?

Hang around with the UKLEM guys enough and I think they'll tell you mirrored or otherwise, they're different.

just a quick thaught on mirrors. has anyone tried making them out of carnival roll? surely that is front surface?

im going to give some dentists mouth mirrors mounted onto a (easy mount) sufficent size crocodile clip a go.
randomly clipping a few around a venue shouldnt take too long...

Oh, I get it now! Not only do they drive on the wrong side of the road, their mirror balls rotate counter-clockwise (or should I say "anti-clockwise" )

    "anti-spinwards"
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
