    nice job..... brad

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    HAHA!

To be fair, it's been quite a while since I've purchased anything here.

But yeah, the deal was certainly completed with "Brad-like" speed.

It was just luck that I noticed it when I did. I already own two other meters in this power range, so I didn't really need this one, but I liked the fact that the head was separate from the rest of the electronics on this one. My other meters all have the head enclosed in a housing, which sometimes makes it difficult to get the sensor in the beam while still being able to read the display.

As for Brad, well, I think he keeps PL open all the time at his desk, so he probably sees all the Buy-Sell-Trade posts before anyone else. If he doesn't immediately send a PM, then the rest of us at least have a chance.

PS: Price seemed reasonable, but not excessively cheap. I think I paid $150 for my used Coherent head that works the same as this one (1 millivolt = 1 milliwatt), and the brand new Ophir head I bought (15 watt max) didn't cost much more than that. Both of those were bare heads though; I had to add a power supply, a volt meter, and an enclosure to make them into completed units. I just liked that this one has the shaft to mount directly to an optical stand, plus it has the banana plugs that should fit right into my voltmeter.

The power meter arrived yesterday in great condition. I powered it up this morning, and it it works perfectly. Now I need to go digging into my bin of parts to find an optical stand for it.

    Thanks Carlos!
