LOL I hadn't opened this thread until now because I don't have the QM2000 or whatever this thread is about... but something just told me I should open it. I wish I didn't. haah.

    Default Vista

Did you all try the beta or something?

Vista is (pretty much) flawless for me.....

(I don’t have any pango software on here, but the pango guys seem to say its 100% compatible)

If you haven’t tried it since beta, give it a go!
    Regards,

    Aidan

I have been running Vista since RTM in November or whenever. Works fine for me.

But for the couple of extra (IMHO unnecessary) features that Vista offers over XP SP2 +IE7 it needed to install and work well and straight out of the box, and it didn't for me - on 2 machines. It 'twas the full monty from my action pack subscription too, not beta.

I also hate the idea that M$ are pushing towards digitally signed hardware and software to further line (their already very well lined) pockets...

Not a fan as you can probably tell

Adam, I got a pretty smelly job too.. I'm stuck in the back of a factory as a repair technician because my A.S.S. degree ( associate of scientific something) couldnt get me into the front cubicle/office part of the plant with all the engineers..
..not that they got it alot better off tho.. but at 77K a year I could buy a hell of alot of blue lasers
