This information may be out of date now, but years ago the FB4 used UDP port 9022 and TCP port 3348.

I've used FB4s more recently, and I've never had to manually open ports on any routers or switches to connect to them across a network. Admittedly, these were off-the-shelf consumer-grade units though. If you are in a restricted network environment with very tight port controls on your router, you may need to manually open ports for the FB4.

However, before you do that, I'd suggest double-checking the simple things first. For example, FB4s in fixed IP mode default to the 192.168.1.x subnet. If your control computer is looking on 192.168.0.x, it's not going to find the FB4...

Assuming that you've configured the FB4 to use a fixed IP address, and that your control machine is on the the same subnet, you could always run WireShark on the control machine and look at the packets that are aimed at the FB4's IP address to see what ports are being used. Then connect everything to your restricted network and try opening those ports on the router.

    Hi Adam

You are right it is still 3348.

I don't know much about network so there is a guy that is helping me. He did use WireShark to find the packets.
Beyond is talking to the FB4 through the router when it is connected to the router with a cable or Wi-Fi.

I need it to work with a cellular router, and that did not work for now. I need to get a router with VPN option and keep trying.
I started another discussion here https://www.photonlexicon.com/forums...ellular-router

Got it. I posted in that other thread.

I'm wondering if the FB4 might not like the higher latency of the cellular modem connection.
