    Default Home Arcade

After 12 years of not having a basement arcade, I finally rebuilt one over the last 3 years. Not shown in this video but present is the laser that draws on the glow wall. I know a few others here have some pinballs at there places. The kids think it is great, but the secret is, it keeps them and friends around where I don't have to worry about them being like I was as a kid.

How much money are you bringing in from the neighborhood kids? Seems like a nice racket.

    Wow! Nice basement, John!

Brings back memories of the classic 80's arcade scene. (Aladdin's Castle, anyone?)

I have a few big pieces including a large cake stand and a Lalique (which is my avatar on LPF) but most of it is early 20th century jewelry I bought for my wife.

So it was fun for both of us to see your stuff in the video. Keep collecting

Hmmm... I've always heard it referred to a "Uranium glass", since it's a uranium oxide that gives it the yellow-greeninsh (Vaseline) color. Wikipedia has a nice short article on it:
