Default SELEM 2023 Laser cut LED desk lamps (interest thread)

    Update:
I added examples of all of the previous years logos here.

Last year, at SELEM 15, I wanted to try something new. I bought a handful of LED desk lamps and laser cut the SELEM logo into them.
I was considering doing it again this year and wanted to get an idea of how many I should make. The nice thing is, if you bought one last year you already have the base and only need the disk.

I was also thinking I would go retro and cut some of the old logos if anyone was interested.

If you would like one, I need to know:
-the base and disk or just the disk
    -which logo.

Bases with the disk are $20
    Disk alone is $10

I will take payment at SELEM.

Here are all of the logos to pick from.

    Thumbs up Love these things!

I really liked these last year, Chris! For sure I'm going to want one this year, once we decide on the logo. Since I already have the base, I'd just need the plastic logo part.

Honestly, if you are willing to make copies of the previous logos, I'd love to have one for every year. (Kinda like Pokemon; Gotta catch them all!)

If my math is right, $150 should cover the 14 backlogged ones, plus the new logo for this year, right? I can PayPal you now if you'd like. (Allows you to get the materials ordered for everyone else.)

    Adam,
Thank you for the compliment. I will start converting the artwork into something that can be cut right away.
I would prefer if you waited on payment until I at least verifiy that they look good being laser cut\etched. I don't see any issues but you never know until you try.

I will post my progress here.

    Yes your math was correct.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I didn't get one of these last year - I got the coaster. But, I'm thinking about one for this year. I'll be curious if the 2021 ends up reproducing ok. If so, I'd want that once since it's the first SELEM I hosted.

I'll keep you updated and post pictures of previous years.
So if you get one you will need a base too? Right?
