Well I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I actually bought a laser of any kind…well I was biting buy the long dormant bug…
I just happened across a laser pointer, and I said I want it…meet the 591nm laser!

I've seen DPSS lasers that output 591 nm, but even the lower power heads are still far too large to squeeze into the small form factor of a hand-held. Is this some new direct injection diode? Or is it one of those frequency-summation units? (Thought those were mostly in the 580 nm range and lower though.?.)

I lucked up and found it on eBay of all places and may have found a few others…hehehe…
I have yet to metered it yet,it’s on my list to do..
It’s a beautiful golden color,and I have tested to make sure it’s not a green and red mixed,and can confirm it do change with you cool it down with a ice cube to a odd green then shift back to golden yellow

This time a (says it’s 505nm) is a beautiful lime green. Fixed my meter and it hits 57mw. And the other golden yellow hits 22mw. And might have ordered another one too

If you don't mind sharing, how much did you pay for the yellow pointer?

Mine was $150, will bring to SELEM. Measured at around 8mw.
