perhaps someone could post it on TikTok so the Chinese can find it and update their equipment

So it seems like the projector probably supports V0, and uses a TTL DAC?

Would you be able to convert that V5 file to a v1,2,3,4 file using just the first frame? I don't really have any good software to do that, but can test on the projector.

    Many thanks

I think for now that you should go with the fmt 0 alt palette using LSG until you can get in touch with the manufacturer. I'm still puzzled over the palette issue.

uketernity, here's a few test files that you can try on your projector. Good luck!

Thanks, I'll test them out and get back to you.

BTW what software do you use to generate these? Do you have any recommendations for a good ILD editor/viewer?

Did you get a chance to test the last files I posted?

I just got the laser back from a friend so will test them out tonight.

However the manufacturer confirmed the on board SD card reader is TTL despite the laser supporting full analog RGB

A and C do nothing, B shows some squiggles for 1/4 second then black.
Only D works, and shows the infinity sign but with very clear banding of the colors, nothing is mixed really, see image.

Thanks for testing! It's too bad the SD is TTL fmt 0 only, but then there seems to be another issue- the alternate palette option in LSG gives the most accurate rendering.

Try grabbing some test files from Ildac Render and see how the colors match up. You may have to run through LSG's alt option to get the colors right.

I think i have about the same now, 5 watt emma rgb-270 30k galvo, not sure if it is an upgraded version but it has the screen with 1 knob to do everything in the menus. (i also have the 3watt mini246 from emma, that one has 4 buttons and no options for analog)
Did you know, when you start the laser and press the knob once while it is starting up, you will go to an extra settings menu. (the one where you can select your laser to have 1 color, rgb, rgy) Over here you can select the laser to be TTL or Analog. When it is at analog it will play all colors (including orange, etc) also from the sd card, not only a simplification to 7 colors. It looks like your laser is set to TTL on the pictures.
Hope it helps and that i used the correct words, my experience is from self learning :-)

what i'v noticed is that it uses ilda with colors selection '0' For editing i use for example laserboy (fantastic program for many things) but when i open the files in the laser the colors are different (switched, like red became white and white became red)

    That's good to know!
