So Ive never had three phase to run this laser at home.
The last time I used it was the LEM in Portland and when I did Laserium shows in Oakland.
I bought it from Jon Robertson. It was from Laserium.
Apparently this laser has some famous history to it. Used in commercials and videos and stuff.
Its got an issue where the beam goes fat or "blooms" to two times the normal diameter at full power. Low to medium power its fine. you get R-G-B all day long and if you de-tune the HR you get yellow with a drop in red power as the yellow and red don't like each other and try to rob power from each other.
I think the replacement optic that was installed has that plastic protective coating on it that when higher power light hits it it heats up and turns into a weak lens as its expanded. Ive seen it happen on cheap aluminum bounce front surface mirrors with my higher powered lasers.
