    Hello,

The 95 went only to 5 W max, the 3500 went to 8 W (argon).
It can be cooled with tap water ...
But you'll need 3 phases to power it.

    Default Yea not that familiar

But yeah I'm going to go check it out soon..the guy got it for 350$ I think I can get it for less ..do you think the optics would be worth that I would imagine..and yeah I do have a 3 phase outlet .. but definitely don't want to blow my shop up . I'm still doing my research.. but it's got to be a no brainer if I can get it for a couple hundred... What should I look for first to see if it is useful? Thanks

    Hi,
Often, they specified the output power on the label as a number next to the "95" like 95-4 for a 4 W tube ... see the label on the tube.
Power supply can be fixed almost all the time, the main value is the tube.
Without powering anything, you can already check if the tube is broken and full of water by placing your finger underneath the glass tube: if you can see a kind of magnifying effect, then it's full of water.
Basic config is a front mirror (flat) and a curved back mirror but you can also have a prism if it's single line laser and even an etalon if it's a single frequency laser ...
    Enjoy !
