Default my budget system w/ mirrors.

not the greatest pics, and these two are the only ones i can post here.
i wish i had video,as the motion of the mirror array to the music is the strength of the show.
i had the little scanner going too but got no good shots(no tri pod)

the club's walls are lined with mirror panels so the shots show twice the beams actually present.

the projector is less than ten feet up but all the beams are aimed up to the first bounce mirrors.
the beams from second bounce are also aimed up.
the projector is behind the p.a. stack which formed a barrier to the area of under spec beam height.

mirror placement was dictated by having only two places in the club to mount them.
i mounted the mirrors on boards(painted black)and used zipties to attach to the pergola for first bounce.
the second bounce to a standpipe in the corner
in motion,i was super pleased with the effect.

    Thumbs up

That don't look too budget to me... Looks like a nice array of beams also. Good Job! Next time you need to turn the light off though. What's the power of the set up?

    thanks.
that's how i promote this unit, best show for the money in town.
it's 150 mw and hits a bunch of mirrors before it gets out of the box so looses probably 17%.
i had to do a show w/out mirrors recently(club owner would not allow) and i suffered all night.
without the bounce mirrors it just gets tedious, but with bounce mirrors and with the dmx board plugged into the dj's mixer, i just smile.

edit-i had my little american dj hazer running.
the club owner was nervous about"fog", but once again, the somewhat anemic output from the hazer was actually perfect.

No... you're supposed to record. You know we are video junkies.
