Default WTB: 15 Watt or Higher Green Combined Diode Laser.

Anyone know where to buy a reasonably priced laser which uses combined green wavelength diodes that is more rectangle shaped than square? I have found a 15 W RGB White laser from China with a rectangle shaped chassis for under 900 dollars, but only one and not just for a green wavelength output at that power.

... depending on your budget, there are DPSS lasers with 532nm output and "enough" power ... I have actually lent a 20W USP for a project, which will cost something above 40k

Thank you for the response. I have a 10W 532 nm DPSS which is as much as I want to afford for DPSS, was hoping to find a less expensive combined diode 525 nm laser. I may need to build one myself, if I could get LaserTack to answer my emails regarding a shipping question for their knife edges, so far no answer, been days. Maybe just busy, anyone have problems getting a response from them before?

... I've actually called him, no problems -- he couldn't remember questions about combined green diodes.

He can provide green fibercoupled (0.1µm fiber) with up to 20Watts for 13k€ ...

Thanks, if you mean Lasertack, it wasn't him I asked about the combined diode laser, I only asked about shipping for a knife edge assembly from them, it was the ebay seller I had asked about their RGB white laser I can't get diode part numbers or a photo of the insides to see what it is before buying.

The problem I have with shipping is if it comes via air carrier or postal mail, as my address is different for each. Doesn't appear lasertack normally will send via postal mail. 13K for 20 watts at 532 nm doesn't surprise me at all, I thought would be higher. Maybe I am not understanding, I didn't know lasertack sold DPSS lasers, or do you mean a 20W combined diode laser?

... Lasertack's green 13k-laser with 20W are diodes, "combined" into a 105µm fiber ... my 20W DPSS (40k€) is from JPT and I'm bying them in Germany from von.Jan-tech ...

Oh, I hoped far, far too low a price for 20W of green DPSS, I was able to buy my 10W output 532 for $3600 three years ago.

... "normal" DPSS should be much cheaper ... my 10Watt-UV-DPSS is around 12.5k€ (previosuly tested a 20W for 25k€) -- but they are 2x "folded", so much more expensive than 532nm.

The actual "green" 532nm 20W-DPSS is an USP (Ultra-Short-Puls) with below 10ps Pulses at 4kW pulse-peak-power, so to be expected as much more expensive, than "standard" types

UPS, I'm such a newbie in many regards, didn't understand that abbreviation earlier.

... no problem -- me too learning new wording and concepts, when trying new ideas ... although I'm in "lasers" since around 45 years now
