    Default Martin RGB 1.6

Personally I think this product is a biggest joke ever came to the market..
It's retailing for about $40k+ in Canada. (You can buy a full blown laser system for that!!). You must be totally mental person to buy it. Or am I wrong?...prove me wrong guys.!

I like old Martin products ....you know the ones actually made in Denmark. I still have 2 sets of Robocolor I/II color changes (8 spotlights in total) I use heavily . They work like a clock even they are over 12 years old. Love Light Jockey software. But most of the new stuff is made in China now and still costs like it is made in Europe.

Just realized that it belongs to Product Review...Mods can you move it there...thanx

Its an Arctos laser- so its not made in china...

I'm happy with it being so expensive, because it doesn't give us any competition...

You pay for quality, and Arctos certainly is quality - have you seen a Arctos pricelist?

Mad but not so mad as ppl are obviously able to afford it. Otherwise Arctos wouldn't be in business.

This System is based on the AMAZER from Laserland/Arctos Germany.
I think its a Laserprojector in perfection. Great Colors cause they use 440nm Diodes for Blue and highpower 658nm Red. Very great Beam diameters! The Amazer can produce white beams that you have been never seen before. If u see this very small highpower projector, you will love it and you understand the price of it.

You're right DA2001, it is a lovely projector to watch. The deep blue looks electric when comparied to DPSS blue, and the white has an extra "zing" too. The build quality is first class, and although it looks similar to the Artos/LaserLand devices, it is made by a different manufacturer, whole licence the optical design.

One thing Martin doesn't do themselves any favours with is the perceived cost. However, the unit itself IS available from Martin for significantly less than their list price.
