suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I prefer the sound quality of eSATA over UBS-2.0 and USB-3. Obviously all of those are far more superior to 10/100/1000 unless you are using shielded CAT-6 for those crisp and clear highs.

Of course, when you start talking fiber, there is nothing that sounds like Mega-Ultra-Monster® oxygen/nitrogen depleted, iridium plated, fiber that is coated with the tears of virgin hand maidens, with polished moissanite (better transfer than diamond) ends. You get etherial highs, mids that sound more realistic than actually being there and bass that can only be measured on the Richter's Scale. It also only costs $10,000/ft. It's seriously good stuff. A must for any iPod user!

The highs are higher, the lows are lower and there's more altogether there-ness...

    Directional CAT7 is my favourite.

The lowest odd/even light harmonic exomodulation on the market. Better sound through liberal use of super refined bull dust.

The Rane Pseudoacoustic Infector is a ripper.

    Exclamation seriously?

Wait - I just read that "listening to storage" article (and I fear I have permanently lost cognitive function as a result of my brief exposure to such galactic stupidity), but I have to ask...

THIS IS REALLY JUST SATIRE, RIGHT? *RIGHT*???

Because if this is for real, if these guys are seriously arguing that the choice of storage media matters for digital audio playback, then I'm going to have to choke someone. Or shoot myself. I can't decide which...

Looks like they're serious. I re-read most of that article about storage in HDD and SSDs and yep .. looks like seriousness :-/ There could be some truth to a phase shift if the D/A converter isn't set up well .. I know in digital recording I have to apply phase correction to some of my home-studio recordings but the drive itself?? Dunno . Probably bull. Loved the Pseudoacoustic Infector Dnar .. and I must have that tube stereo for the automobile Dc ..

Oh my God... The stupid - it burns!

You realize we are doomed as a species if this sort of idiocy is allowed to spread, right?
