    Hi Jian,

Do the rear side of these dichros have an AR coating?
If so, I would like a set please.

    Thanks!

    Question

jian, can you post the dichro specs? t%, r% I have been needing a set of mounts and want to compare the filters to the ones I have.

    t%, r%???
Do you need that is "pass" and "reflectivity"?
    I real not clear them.
I hear from the manufacture most >90%,some >95%.

    Cool

    Jian;

T% = Transmittance (also known as "pass")

R% = Reflectance (also known as "reflectivity")

He wants to compare the specs from your dichros against the one's he already has. Are you saying that both numbers (pass and reflectivity) are 90%? Because that's not very good. Normally one would expect a minimum of 95% efficiency on the transmittance (or "pass") and a minimum of 98% efficiency on the reflectance (or "reflectivity").

    Thumbs up

I am not sure the ratios or percentages but those pictures speak volumes! Thanks Jian!!! Literature has nothing on true measurments.

    Hi Jian,

Thanks for my set - I look forward to receiving it ;-)
I have had a thought though.

The blue reflection of the blue reflect dichro is 96.6%
The blue transmission of the red reflect dichro is 91.7%
This gives total blue of 88.6%

The blue is the most expensive and it is the transmission of the red reflect that is killing it.

Could you swap the red and blue lasers and swap the two dichros?
ie what is the red transmission of the blue reflect dichro?

Red is cheap at 658nm so even if the red transmission of the blue reflect dichro was 80% I would prefer this to losing over 10% of my blue.

    Best regards,
    Robin
Lasers and beer don't mix. After 2 beers I lose coherence.
