    Question advice...

    hi folks,

at this moment i work a lot with laser, as a hobby, and with several company's.

In my hobby i had some lasers which have been replaced when budget allowed it. at work i use PRO lasers, but there also some hobby, and some rent for small party's

At this moment i have private:

    1x 1 watt DPSS green 45k
    1x Pangolin QM2000 Intro
    1x Pangolin .NET upgrade
    1x Pangolin LivePRO license

    lost of cable. switches etc.

In the past i had 2x 200mW green but these are sold

On my wishlist at this moment....

    - Pangolin Lasershow Performer
    - OR Another 1 Watt Green
    - OR adding a color to the 1 watt (then reduce green in multicolour and when need power i use it as single colour)
    - OR 2 seperate 250mW green or 350mW RGY

Gratings, bounce mirrors are also on the list but almost ordered so thats no problem anymore.

    Also only differential lasers.

if i had the budget i would buy everything at once but it isn't so maybe some people can advice what to do, because its hobby, but like it also

the fastest, cheapest way to improve what you already have is to get some bounce mirrors.
i have links for suppliers in the u.s. and one in europe too.
just p.m. me and i'll send them.
i can also prattle on about how i use mirrors.
    where are you located?
    peace,
    wes

have you considered just adding dual maxyz red to one of your greenies to get your rgy projector?

    grating wheels,
    the best come from
    www.creativelaser.de

    a machida grating from machida

or a machado grating from creative.

those are ultra wide effects with ultra dense beams.

clear linear plastic gratings from One Stop Laser Shop to glue over your bounces once in a while they're cheap and very effective.

maxys modules and a combining dichro from one stop + a MM1 type mount, = rgy for about 300$ US.

one beamtable actuator for the wheel and one for the machida/machado

cheap upgrades, both wow customers. you can also scan through the grating wheel and plastic grating, if your in a audiance scanning region

    o.k.

so,how about adding red to your existing projector to give you a nice rgy.

the dual maXYZ modules seem to be a strong favorite, and get high power and good beam specs by combining beams.

    Hi Movinghead

welcome, I think most people in the thread have sugested ideas about mirrors and gratings, because you said...
Gratings, bounce mirrors are also on the list but almost ordered so thats no problem anymore.

    Hi Dwain,

Nice to see you here at PhotonLexicon

I would suggest buying/building another 1W green DPSS. You can link the new laser using an ILDA-cable from the other laser with the QM2000.NET-board, with mirrored X. Then you can add a QM2000.NET-system to the new laser when you've saved some more money, and in the future you can add a full-colour laser and do shows with 2 green lasers at the sides of one centered full-colour laser.
