    Default Building my projector!!!!

Well! It's started! I have all of the materials and now it is a matter of assembling them into a finished projector! I'll be going up to the surplus store to get the rest of the items I need. For now, it is just a single module. It'll take any maXYZ module! The power supplies are a little overkill! I have 50A of 5V and 3A of both +24V and -24V. I'l stick on where to find a 9V power supply for the laser. I'll look for one tomorrow unless any of you know where to get a 2V 8-10V power supply? I attached some pictures! Today's been a good day! I just scored my first job! At 15! I got an offer fo an internship at a local startup laser company!

Looking good for a wood set up. I'm not knocking wood, my first set up was on wood. It does look a little tight on space though. Good luck with your intership.

And hurry up with some scanned pics of that 405nm...

    Thumbs up

Cool stuff man! Thanks for sharing the pics, and keep'em coming!
I am going to get started on a very similar project as soon as a few more of my components arrive in the mail. Don't you hate waiting for the mailman?

I hope to get the dual maXYZ's this week. Then I'll be able to finish it up. I just got back from the store and got a bunch of finishing stuff.

Allthat- there is no wood on the projector at all! That is scrap laminate flooring. It's 0.25" plastic.

It's just about done! I have it running anything I put into it. I just need a case now. I'm going to be using a 4U rackmount road case. I decided to incorpotate the FB3 into the projrctor so the only thing showing is the USB and Power..

PS: No one noticed the litle toy in the 4th picture. :P

    Cool

    sweeeeeeet!

Now you need to paint that wall with some flourescent paint! (That, or splash some fluorescein on the wall...)

    Adam

PS: Scan that sucker across the CRT on an oscilloscope - or even a standard monitor, and see what you get! (We did this at SELEM.)
