    Default My Projector

Well, the outside anyway. I'll get some of the inside next time I open it up.

    Thumbs up

Nice box! I just hope no body else's laser hits it; it must have a 95% reflectability rating...

Paint the case with etch primer and then with black paint.
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

    Nice and original idea
Yes, you should give some colors to your case, for example paint the sides in black and anodize the aluminium structure in blue or so

Yea, it sure is shiny. I can use it for a mirror if I want. I thought about putting some paint I'm pretty sure it would easily chip off of the edges of the diamonds as things scuff up against it. So, I'll just leave it all nice and shiny.

One thing I want to do is make a glass window for the front hole that looks like the one on the $1900 RGB job that's been discussed. I can make the aluminum trim piece on my mill but I need a square piece of glass. I think this has been discussed before so i'll have to look it up.

I also need to add ventilation. I got an old broken Cisco router from work yesterday and it has a nice low profile high volume squirrel cage fan in it that will work great, I think.
