I am so tempted to get some high power (225mW) optics for one of my 60X's and combine it with a pair of Marconi's red modules.
Would make an excellent 750mW white light system.

I am located in charlotte nc. I am going to packaged the head and the ps in two different boxes and package it well. PM me your phone number and I will call you.
Sorry, I dont know the hours but an acurate measurement is 60mw, would probably be more if you had the full multiline optics in it.

Go for it Dude, I'm outta cash right now due to a traffic ticket. That would have stretched my budget (not that I have one )I'm sure there will be other argons..
going on ebay on sunday......
Is it gone yet?
lol, no
How many hours on the tube? Is it near end-of-life? Could it be re-gassed?, if so, how expensive would that be? Questions, questions, and more questions -heh
Forget regassing a tube that size. It would cost $1500 to $2000. You'd be better off buying 3 or 4 more off E-bay and taking your chances.
Besides, the power supply is the key. You can always find tubes (and heads) on E-bay. It's the power supply that's hard to find.

Evergreen Laser sells refurbed X tubes at ~750$ and will install it in the head, they have piles of them from when they had the Xerox contract.
Anybody else is gonna charge you 1500-2000$ to rebuild.
