    I know how to make the angle smaller or bigger, but I don't understand how to get angle from the percent.

    this is on the pangolin website. If I remember correctly I think 13% would be about 8 degrees if your scanners are set for max 60 degrees full angle. Best way is to us the table on the Pangolin website as measure the distance and width.

    Just a few quick comments about this.

    First, Chinese scanners that I have analyzed so far do not do a very good job at bonding the coil. Wider scan angles = "more heat" dissipated by the coil. So in other words, wider = less life.

    Second, the position sensor in Chinese scanners that I have analyzed so far is not very good. Wider scan angles = higher nonlinearity.

    Third, flicker has nothing to do with scan angle. In most cases, it will be a "fact of life" with laser show...
