Green 532nm 5.6mm?

I'm pretty sure thats not possible... yet... and if it actually is available now I doubt it would be affordable on a hobbyist's budget.

Do you have a link or anything?

There is a small module that contains the diode + optics to create green in a tiny package just as a regular diode would be. The price is very staggering and unjustified honestly for out purposes.

I don't think a GB of a few hundred or even 1000 units would budge the price much.

I think that must be what I was looking at (can't find link now). It looked to me like a 5.6mm but the case was longer front to back.
