I think the feedback output is so you can wire in a scanfail safety board?

Everything we sell is closed loop. What you are getting confused with is the feedback output. This is a output, so the user can attach a safety board..

Arh okay that explains it. Sorry I am a noob at this and thought the feedback output was for the closed loop.

    Many thanks.

Hey Xgeek, where are you located? Just curious... I'm guessing the UK?

    Cool

Cool... I only mention it because I know that a bunch of our members in the UK are in the process of organizing a "United Kingdom Laser Enthusiast's Meeting", or UKLEM. It's scheduled for some time in February, 2008. I think you'd enjoy attending that.

It's basically just a bunch of laser geeks that get together and set up all their equipment in one room so they can compare notes, share ideas, and watch lasers for a day. We just had one in Florida last weekend, and it was a great time! Good place to learn about projector construction and wiring, how to create frames and shows, that sort of thing... It's also really cool to just be able to watch a bunch of different shows for a whole day.

Have a look in the "Lasers Meet and Greet" forum for more details.
