Default Need help picking the 2 Dichroic filters I need for my scanner

    Hi Guys,

I need 2 x 45° Reflective Dichroic filters for my first scanner. I have attached a drawing of how I think the laser layout should be but I am not sure of the exact part number from Edmund Optics for each filter.

    I need:
1 x Pass Green. Reflect Red
1 x Pass the combined Red & Green (Yellow). Reflect Blue.
    Both in 25mm size
Note I have the mirror for the first green bounce.

I think I need these 2 but I am not sure if the colour in the filter name is the reflected colour or the pass colour?
    FILTER 45DEG DICHROIC BLUE 25MM D
    FILTER 45DEG DICHROIC RED 25MM D

If anyone can help or suggest a better order of the lasers that would be great.

    Many thanks

Since green is the cheapest and we are most sensitive to your layout is one of the best.

The two filters you have chosen are correct. NT47-267 to reflect blue and pass everything else, and NT47-266 to reflect red and pass green.

This chart basicaly states what filter will reflect what and how much, R = reflect:

    "Red615nm ± 15nm: Rabs= 50%
    640-750nm: Rave> 98%
    Blue510nm ± 15nm: Rabs= 50%
    400-475nm: Rave> 98%
    Green535nm ± 15nm: Rmax> 98%
    FWHM (R%): 65nm ± 15nm
    "
