That's right. the diode is in the PS3 laser module pictured. It's a sealed can affair with 5 leads. It actually has 3 lasers in it: 405nm, 650 red, and 780 IR.

Can you use red and purple at the same time? That would make for some interesting colors.

The red is mounted on top of the violet, so from what I've read it's not reccommended to use them at the same time to limit heat. They could probably be used simultaneously at a lower power.

Just so I don't have to keep making posts to update the list of orders, it can be found here.

Thanks, everyone who has paid. If you have but don't see your name on the list but have paid, please PM me with your order number and name. thanks!

Could I add on the diode driver option too?

If so, I would like 2 drivers too. I will send payment once I get the answer to this (that way I don't have to send multiple payments).

EDIT: Would I be able to modulate with your power supply? I would love to add these lasers to my projector (even though its such a low output)

any order can be added to at any time. The driver kits in this GB do not have a modulation input, but I am designing a driver that will. That will come later. Or you can use a Die4 probably.

Wouldn't it be convenient if the input voltage for your driver was 5volts? heh

Yeah I am tempted to buy a few Die4 drivers but I haven't gotten around to that yet. I would love to win the lottery!
