    It's a non-linear curve, my 200mW Lasever runs at 1.6A LD current, 300mW Lamda at 2A and 1watt at under 4A.

    Optical cavity efficiency plays a huge part.

    I've got a 100 mw green that uses just 650 ma of drive current. But I've seen other lasers that use 2 to 3 times as much current for the same output.

    Getting back to the question at hand though - the die4driver isn't going to run the TEC for the head. You'd be better off with an OEM power supply for that laser that supports analog blanking.

    1.1...hmmmm... I wonder too. in normal case it would be around 350mw of "visible green".
    I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!
