    Yes, I have seen that project, nice.
    Since I'm not going to make my unit battery operated and small I'm thinking about using the other parts of the original PCB aswell.
    Does anybody have the schematics or is it time to reverse engineer... ?

    Yeah, for 35 bucks I couldn't resist either. I just ordered a pair of those sensors off E-bay. Now to jump into the group buy for the PCB to mount all the amplifier parts on. (Dang, I guess this means I'll have to register over there. Another forum to chew up my free time!)

    Hi,

    I got two of my boards and hooked one up after drlavas instructions, it works very well!
    The readings fluctuate a bit and it is very sensitive to draft, a tube on the front will help I think.
    Is there anything to be gained by attaching this sensor to a bigger piece of metal to increase the thermal mass since the heater isn't used anymore?
