    Doc, what is the black plastic thing you are melting?
    It looks like a volume knob of a Philips 752 car radio.

    I don't mind doing it outside eBay, but I still only want to do them in fives. It's a real pain trying to arrange secure packaging on single diodes, it would have to be done so often I'd lose valuable time doing it... Most experimenters will want more than one anyway.

    Jim, was a little cable collet thinger from a metal shell for DSUB connectors. They come with five different sizes, once the right one is selected, several un-needed spares remain, so I sacrificed one.
