    Kewl.. I guess that's what all the pipes are for, to help keep hands and eyes from straying into a beam while adjusting stuff. (With all those screwdrivers). Perhaps also to reduce attenuation and noise from airborne particulates. Laser looks like a long HeNe, maybe. Any idea what the setup is doing? I wouldn't mind being the bull in that china shop.

    Guess that laser!

    It is a big ion. It might be a older saber or possibly a i90.

    I can't see the back so i don't know if it is a small or large frame. I sent the pic to a friend at Coherent to see if he can id it..

    Yes i have too much free time on my hands

    any guesses?

    I think its a I-90.. the 300's safety shutter hole is off to one side that one looks to be in the center

    Still a stunning collection of optics..
