    Default Shanghai Lasers??

Anyone ever hear of these guys (Shanghai Lasers)? Any feedback? I have heard they just re-sell CNI's. Is this true??

I just received a quote sheet from them and WOW....

    VERY AFFORDABLE!!

Any ideas on their reputation and/or quality??

    Thanks in advance!

    I assume Shanghai Dream Lasers

I am fairly familiar with their product line and they are affordable last time I checked. They also have a LOT of different wavelengths!

but what has been mentioned from Dave and others is .... CNI sell lasers that are over spec, a unit labled at 400mW is actualy doing 500mW the resellers relable it as a 500mW unit

CNI sellit at the 400mW price but these resellers will sell it to you at the 500mW price

at the end of the day it looks cheaper .... But is it ?

    all the best ... Karl

what Banthai said. Laser Century is guilty of the above. But perhaps im a bit bias. In any case, search the forum and you shall find more people saying the same thing...

    dave...

thank you for that link. i am VERY glad i asked about this first. i guess the saying, "ya get what you pay for" is still the case huh?

stick with a winner i guess. ill just stick to the CNI's direct.

    any ideas?
    My experience with this company:
I buy total 6 1W green laser and build the projector for my friend.
BROKEN 4 sets and need to repair.( use less than 6 months)
Before my friend buy 2 sets all broken.

One laser broken,so my friend's client the power supply of case.
I check it and sure my friend never tune any adjustment, just open the case see what happen.
BUT this company say:because you open the powersupply of the case,so lost warranty,so must pay USD1400 for repair charge .
I buy the laser pay USD2000 only.
