Default Crossing the border to US

My company does a party in Buffalo and they asked me if I can bring my lasers there. Whats the requirements for that.?
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

for a public show over 5mw,you need a projector that is varianced by the cdrh and you yourself need an operators variance.

i am not fully clear on private non commercial events, but you may be able to circumvent the variance issue if it is a private party.
as far as i know, the client doesn't need certification from the cdrh but may need local fire marshal approval like we do in portland.

It's a private not commercial thing. Everything else will be a responsibility of organizers. Actually I care more about crossing the border. Checks by customs and stuff.

Really, you can cross the border without any problem. It's actually pretty sad how little border security there is. Just don't have any fruit!

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.
