May I stay in Mamba land for a while please? I'm sure OldGrumpy is working on some exciting new features for us.

    Hi Jim

    Congratulations A great decision!!

I'm sure you'll be happy with it, if you're anything like me you'll probably spend the first week or two just looking at the shows that come with it.

Which version have you gone for? Intro, basic or..... Pro

I just got the intro as i'm not sure how often i'll write my own shows. BUT, I did succumb and order LivePRO, trust me when I say it's well worth the upgrade

Have fun and let us know how you get on. It's a bit of a steep learning curve at first, but it's all starting to come together now. The best thing to do is just sit down and play.

    Cheers

I actually have spent more on another system that has let me down....more than one time. Wished that I would have picked up the QM2000 at the start. You will not be let down in any way. It doesn't get any better than Pangolin. Best support and products are unmatched in my book.

Well done.. I have a Basic and two Intro's.. they are a great bit of kit.

Takes a day or two to get the head around some of the basics.

One tip.. in the help file under its own heading there is a section on real basics ( a bit ike "getting started") that is really good to start with I found.
The tutorial DVD is good and there is heaps of files, frames and shows.

The real advantage of course is Bill Brenner who seems to find time to answer our questions.

No doubt you have seen the Chat section at the Pangolin website. Thats worth its weight in gold quite a few good tips in there.

I have just received my three .net boxes OEM versions (no box) looking forward to getting network running.

    Good luck
