It's not possible to crack the Rockey4 till today, it's only possible to create an emulation that will fool the dongle-routine which is embedded in the software or to copy the whole hardlock itself.

That last thing would be stupid: MediaLas has a list of all buyers who bought software + dongles. If there are (a lot of) copies of one dongle (number) it's very easy to track down this person.

i copy it for a friend who has a dac but not software he uses spaghetti an others free softs i did it for help him. the rockey4 is easy to copy. with the rockey4 editor i made an image of my key and save it to a file the file can be saved in other rkey4 and the the crack is a emulator.only replace the original rockey4.sys file by the modified rocke4.sys in c:\windows\system32\drivers

But that does not make it smart to do it anyway...

If nobody did buy mamba\pangolin..
Medialas\pangolin would never get any money to update the software..

And they would not bother to do so, becouse they dont think that anybody did use it when nobody did buy the SW

i sayd a few times i bought mamba software y paid for it. it cames with the easylase dac. I payd for it.
now... How do i know the dealer sold me an original copy? with the rockey4 is enough and the serial number?
i only show you the soft is easy to copy. may i keep quiet, don't say nothing and you'll never know it? i don't need to copy the soft. i already have it and payd for it, the copy was for a friend nothing more. i'm talking about mamba 1.61 an old version. not the last release.

What people try to explain to you, is that you are not contributing anything, not to the PL-community, not to the laserdisplay community as a whole.
We are not waiting for this kind of piracy-information, especially in the "Mamba Black 1.90 now available" thread. A smart kid like you should understand that.

If your hacker-friend had some juicy information about the innerworkings of mamba, special key-combos to unlock certain hidden functions or whatever, that would be welcome.
What you're basicly saying is that the rockey dongle can be emulated.

I'm a pirate from Waaaaayyyyyy back. Once i got into this hobby, i understand more why it's not the right thing to do. Of course i wanted pango stuff free, but no. Just bite the bullet and pay for it. I did.

We're not talking about multi-billion dollar companies, we're talking about very small companies that if their software is out in the open, workers may be out of a job. It's not just stealin', which is bad enough, but stealing from the low man on the pole, which might lose their families livelihood.
