This creates the need to crack the software or create a clone dongle.
Only for people that are willing to break the law. The rest of us pay for the software.
    What a scam.
It's not a scam, it's economics. The only scam is your quest for an illegal work-around.

If you don't like it, then why don't you try quitting your day job, writing your own laser show software, then debug it, develop some shows for it, and finally - try to sell it on the open market at a price that allows you to live comfortably.

What's that? You're not a programmer? And you don't think it will sell enough copies to even pay for the gasoline you put in your car, never mind all your other monthly expenses?

    THEN STOP COMPLAINING!

Compared to other Laser SW i think Mamba is so great that I actually want to pay more to them, so I can recive more updates and more nice addons in the future

I'm rolling out an updated 1.90 now - stay tuned. Uploading takes a while and I'll send out emails as soon as each download is ready. The change log isn't as large as the last one but we had some very nasty ones this time

P.S. To mend the delay, I threw in some speed improvements

Hmmm - am I correct in the assuption that MB will work with Norm's DAC?
If so, where do I get the dongle number from?
OR am I being a total fummit and the dongle connects to the USB port on your PC and then gives you an ILDA output which then plugs into any DAC??

Nother quezzy - MB or LDS??? Which is best for the home user/possible hire out (with operator) once I have completed whatever is needed to be able to do that legally in the UK (which is actually a question I was going to raise at the UKLEM this coming Sunday - yip yip )

I haven't seen Norm's DAC, but in case nobody did it yet, I'll happily add support to Mamba for it if someone throws the documentation at me And a sample of the hardware for testing wouldn't hurt, too.
Your dongle number is displayed in the lower right corner of the about dialog.

And about the "nother quezzy": I may be preoccupied, but of course you should choose Mamba

I think Norm's DAC is the same as the DAC0832 based popelscan DAC.
