Andy, you will be pleased to know (unless I somehow got lucky) that the FB3 does far more than 7 colours. I had mine running at a show Friday night doing pastel colours and then fading into the more vivid spectrum...Obviously you will need analog modulation to do this..
So when you get it all connected you should be pleasantly surprised
In fact, have a look at the pics here... More than 7 colours in these alone and no camera tricks...Should bring a smile to your face
My blue laser is on the way and I'll be 24 bit full color soon, too. Hard to believe I just started off with the boomdog box wanting to draw some red squiggles on my wall.
The blue makes all the difference... Expensive, but worth every penny....
I started with a laser crab, then added a green pointer into the equation to make a 10mw green crab... But we all start somewhere...
It's where we end up that counts and in my case that means broke but who needs cash when you got 24bit colour to play with.....
The FB3 has always supported analog blanking. So yeah, you get the full color pallete. I don't know how Andy got the idea that it was only TTL...
Adam
PS: Nice pics, Insanity!
If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Live Pro does do some fantastic things with colour.. I like the idea of the pastel colours, you don't see them that often...
Rob, put me out of my misery, what is the pic in your avatar? Looks like some form of laser harp like Jean Michelle Jarre used to play with, been trying to work out for ages how you did it????
Im surprised its taken so long for anyone to ask.....
Its actually really simple - if you look close and think about it. Anyone wanna try and guess b4 the cat is released from the bag
