    Exclamation Mamba Black user manual

    Hi,

I saw that some of you don't like the Mamba Black manual as it is now.
Would it be good to make our own manual and use the current manual as the basic?

WE are the users, so WE are using this software the most and can say what you can do with Mamba Black. We are the experts on this.
We know the tips and tricks or learn about it from others.

I can ask Medialas to give us the Word file of the original manual, so what we can re-write it.

    Greetings,

I posted some time ago (maybe April/May this year) for suggestions on tips or tricks for mamba as I was going to write (did start writing) a Manual that filled in all the holes in the Medialas one. I also asked for wishlists or improvements that people could see to make the use of this app. a little easier. I got some but not a lot of response, but if people are more willing to come forward with suggestions I would take up the challenge once more.

PS now may be a good time with this major release of MB in the offing

    Exclamation Manual online

    Hi Rob,

Great idea you had but would it be better if this manual is 'online'?
So, that everyone can write his/her tip or trick in the manual realtime.

I think this is the only way to make this as a succes!

hmmm ok I see the benefits of that but could very easily get into a jumble if people can just add stuff willy nilly

I think it is a good idea tho....

Anyone wanna host? can we do it here on the forum?

With the imminent release of MB 1.90 (ok overdue release) it isn't worth doing anything with the current manual.
You never know, there may be a new manual due to the new features added.

Jim we can wish but somehow i think most of the work on 1.9 will be code rewrites rather than new features - Im certain there will be 1 or 2 new features but doubt there will be any radical changes - but we can live in hope.

    Hi Karl

Big thanx for that - at least we have somewhere to dump our stuff now

to everyone else - Karl has provided me with the login details and I have a few Ideas of how this should be dealt with but am open to any other ideas or comments.

What would you prefer - a Mamba forum (I dont wanna detract from PL myself and am happy to discuss Mamba issues here)
Is the idea of a single document that evolves the best way to do the 'manual' or do we have a pot that anyone can throw their ideas into?

    Please make suggestions.

In the meantime I have posted a holding page to give the domain a little bit of meaning

Maybe you have to ask Medialas first about this page.
Mamba is a trademark as you know I hope and maybe Medialas want to make a forum as well at his website...

Second, nobody knows the http://www.laserfreak.net/forum/index.php?c=16 ???
There is already a topic about Mamba stuff, in your language, so two forums about Mamba would be too much...

I prefer a website with a user manual what can edited by the users.
No real moderator or something, just a .doc file.

    Greetings,
    Audrey
