As far as I remember it would be 3 separate channels and 3 separate DLP chips. Modulation will be done by DLPs themselves the same way it's done nowdays. Second I don't think this will be cheap. Something around 20K. Then beam specs will be horrible because they have to cover a large 1cm or more DLP matrix. Plus the life of those TVs will be no more then a year or so. Then there are many laser projection regulations in the world. For example I think in Finland maximum allowed power is 100mw 3 meters above people's heads. I personally think this laser TV will be a complete flop!
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

Yep, its been done...by me! I took the output from a HeNe coupled into a fiber cable took the output of the fiber cable and stuck it into the lightpipe. Removed the Color wheel it works fine...no big whoop. Got a red only pic on the wall it was no big deal. The problem comes when you need the color information. I tested / evaluated prototype dlp engines in when i worked in dallas.

I have two DLP developers kits of a older generation. TI wont support em.
Anybody want to reverse engineer a 60+ pin TTL data connector?
The power limit is the mirrors are coated with a silver film @ 70% reflective instead of dielectric.

And we all had such high hopes for the "Laser TV" as a source for an RGB module... ahhh <sigh> .. well ..who knows what apps the future will bring..
