Default Pangolin LD "Children" grapics show - audio sync?

I would really like to start using the "Children" graphics show (LD2000, in the "ILP - Frames & Shows" folder) in some of my garage laser shows, but I seem to be having one heck of a time adusting the audio of the Robert Miles "Children" song (purchased & downloaded from Amazon MP3) to sync with the graphics.

Has anyone successfully matched the audio with the graphics that would be willing to post the timing adjustments you needed to make?

    Thanks!

There are 2 or 3 versions of children on the origional album, with slightly different BPM, enough to really mess you up. If it doesnt fit, you might really have the wrong one. Is it leading , lagging, or just totally not fitting?

It seems like the audio is leading the graphics, at least during the "waterfall / lightning" sequence - after that, not sure!!

There are lots of versions I know of:

    Eat me Edit (4.00)

Dream Radio (4.00) - Not released in UK or US

    Vocal Mix (6.50) - UK 12" only

Full Length Mix (7.30) - US Only

    Dream Version (7.30)

Dream Club Version (7:34) - France Only

    Guitar Mix (7.21)

    Message Version (6.50)

Its also been remixed by Dave Darell in 2008 although it wasn't released under Robert Mile's name so unlikely to be these versions.

The overall length of the show might give a clue to the version unless they only used part of the song.

PS I've compiled this from my CD and the Wiki.

PPS As Pangolin are a US company, its most likely to be a US mix so here are the US released versions as one block:

    CD Single

    1. "Children" (eat me edit) — 4:00
    2. "Children" (dream version) — 7:30
    3. "Children" (guitar mix) — 7:21
    4. "Children" (message version) — 6:50

    12"

    1. "Children" (full length mix) — 7:30
    2. "Children" (radio edit) — 4:00
    3. "Children" (guitar mix) — 7:21
    4. "Children" (message version) — 6:50

    Talking

The accompanying text file states (as I'm sure Stuka is aware):

TRACK ONE " Children " ( Dream Version)
    Duration 7.05
    ALBUM "DREAMLAND"

I have this track and it does indeed come in at 7:05.
Hey Stukey, ya didn't buy the single version did ya?

Dang - I had NO IDEA there were SO many versions of that song!

Guess that goes back to a much earlier post of mine where I admitted to being stuck in the dreaded "Classic Rock Zone"...

Looks like I've got to work on my musical diversity awareness if I hope to make it someday as a laserist!

Thanks for all who chimed in!!

    PS -

    Timing issue resolved.

    Thanks for the assist, Soforene!
