    Default Laser Warning Sign Graphics

    Hello all,

I have been making a few large strides on my projector in the last few months and I have been wanting to add a few laser warning labels on it.

I still don't have the case built, its in a 'barebones' state right now, but I wanted to start to compile a collection of high resolution images of laser warning labels. If anyone could help by providing a few jpg, psd, or similar format images it would be greatly appreciated.

Of course I already have the most important one from sams laser faq:

ooh... I found this for some fun, but unfortunately its low resolution. I would prefer upwards of 300dpi

    Thanks Paul!

I found them on Sam's Laser FAQ, however, I have just been trying to find a source of really high quality images, ones that are great for printing, even in large format.

I have found a few other sources, and I am currently developing some on my own. I will share them when I compile them all.

In the mean time for those of you who don't know Coherent offers free laminated warning signs that are great quality. It is their commitment to safety. If you want one of them just follow this link:

    Hey Andy,

I've seen those around for a while. And I saw that you were giving them away too. Thats awesome. I've actually been meaning to contact you about them.

Did you design that yourself? Do you still have the graphic file?

Where did you get them printed. Or what did you look for when you searched for a label printer? I can usually only find places that are willing to make 1000+ labels for $400 or so. YIKES

    Too many for my needs

Another cool find, similar to the first make-your-own-sign website, just a bit better and more customizable.

    Andy,

Kinkos will print color stickers on vinyl. I think the price was something around $15 per square foot, with a minimum $25 order.

I never actually checked Kinkos because from my memory they were fairly expensive. But I guess compared to the other places I have looked I might resort there.

Hmm, I tinkered around with Microsoft Visio and saved the result as a WMF file. If you don't know what that is, it's a vector-based clipart that you can use with most other microsoft programs and make them any size you want without pixellation or quality loss. I can also save it as a postscript or encapsulated postscript, however I don't have any way of verifying if it actually works. Here's a link to the test WMF file though
