Heh so this is up again. I tried a while ago to get a hold of him so I could do further tests of the blue laser, but to no avail. He's hiding out somewhere, ignoring the on-line world. Post up if anyone gets a hold of him!

Fortunately I didn't go bust , but it was scarily close.
Mostly though , it has spoiled my enjoyment of lasers in general . A very bad experience.

If you read the entire thread you'll see that Bridge propably is a bit careful with sending out 1000+ USD lasers to unknown people now...
Also that offer was made two yearas ago when Laser-Wave wasn't nearly as established in the business as they are now, they must have thousands of satisfied customers by now and have propably arranged for long time testing thmeselves or via their trusted distributors. But hey, I wouldn't say no to a nice 635 or 640 nm red, would complement my 473 & 532 Laser-Waves nice!
