    Unhappy

Damn... if I only had a spare grand... I'd love those scanners. You need any computer parts? I seem to have several extras of several items.

You will find most scanners will run off either 5 or 10v differential. Its just a matter of setting input scale correctly.

My controllers are +-10v. I can scale the image to 50% but what if I accidentally put full scale. Whats gonna happened to the galvo driver. Or there is a way to adjust drivers themselves to accept -+10V.

Sorry question mark button is gone on my keyboard.

    Cool

I'm pretty sure the DT-40 galvo's come with a dual-potentiometer (ganged on a single shaft) that is used to adjust the gain of the input signal. Why not use the same principle here? Put a 20K pot (OK, two of them - one for x and one for y) in line with the input to your scan amps and you should be able to knock the voltage down to the appropriate range.

Also, I thought only the really old galvo amps could accept the +/- 10 volt differential inputs (like the old open loop / accelerator 124 amps and stuff).?.

Sorry, i was meaning - adjust the input scale on the scan amps for 10v. Most scan amps will be fine with this.
