Default Intrest Gauge for ILDA conn-->terminal conn.

Would you guys be interested in a $25 board to professionally connect wires to a ILDA connector via terminal blocks? Basically a small board with a DB-25 connector and a terminal block.

Dunno how soon. If we could order 100 of the boards there would be a huge discount!

I have been toying with the idea of doing a small ILDA breakout board with:

-Balanced line recievers to go from differential to single ended for the color channels
-Perhaps a color filter, such as the one Bill described in another thread
-Scanner outputs, and facility to flip the X axis
-Indicators for X, Y and color
-Regulation, to allow the board to run off the scanner PSU
    -Etc

I have done a nice small surface mount board to suit our lasers, if there is interest, Ill do a version to suit other applications( ours is very specific to our lasers - Ill post some pics when I get a chance to take some )

    Thumbs up

That would be nice. Basically for solder challenged people like myself. I would also like one for when components get changed out. I'd be happy with a bus bar that is attached to the ILDA plug that I can then make all my connections on the bar and leave the plug alone.

This is so strange, I am in the middle of soldering my connector and was thinking ' wouldnt be good good if someone supplied these all wired up with a chok block approch to connecting the wires using the screw down points'

I've just tined my connector up after much pensiveness because I'm a solder virgin too so think Ill go ahead and finish it but wowee that is just what Im looking for.
